This song was written in between packing boxes to get ready to move from the state where my wife and I had met, married, and had seen the birth of our kids. It was completed just in time to throw it into a box, where it would stay untouched for the next two years.The thought behind this song was ... what could we be certain about during uncertain times? During our most uncertain, frightening, and insecure times, the only real certainty is Jesus. There are a lot of songs written about heaven, going there, being there, experiencing new things, seeing loved ones .... and that is all well and good. But Jesus will be there, and it really should just be a continuation of the walk we have with Him here.
