Welcome to the place I set up to share some of my life stories and demos of the songs I have written. My wife is helping me get these into the format we feel they need to be in (me having one arm and limited mobility and all). We are working on getting the blogs paired with the songs, and there is a lot of work to do before they are finished. There are some songs on the YouTube channel that are not on the blog yet. There are also more songs that are in neither place, waiting for one thing or another to be completed, and some are in draft mode waiting for a blog to be paired with them. We have not told many people this is even up here, so if you found it ... congrats on being a part of the few ha, ha.
Music was always a big deal to my wife and me. In fact, we met over a piano. God convicted us early on He wanted us to seek Him, write songs, and keep them hidden. In obedience to that, we kept writing songs and tucking them away. Then life got really difficult and wrote lots of very long, painful stories.

In obedience to that, we kept writing songs and tucking them away. Then life got really difficult and wrote lots of very long, painful stories.
Early in 2013, I felt a sudden urgency to downsize my possessions and record every song I had written into my computer. About 24 hours after I sang the last song, I experienced a brain bleed that left me paralyzed from the chin down and unable to speak. We lost our home for the second time in life. You find either decide you believe what you say you believe, or you call it quits, roll over, and die. We chose to believe what God promised us He would do. I still cannot play the piano or sing, but thanks to the existence of those rough pre-stroke recordings, we were able to produce them into sharable demos.
Years ago, Kim and I asked some questions. What if we dove into everything with 100 percent of what we had to offer, at our own expense, for the betterment of everyone but ourselves? What if we put the needs of others above our own? What if we just did who we are, and left it up to God where that landed. What if we lived Proverbs 27:2? What if we literally listened to, "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness? What if instead of saying it, we tried just doing it? What if integrity and character and how Jesus lived were more important than making a name for ourselves, pushing/selling "our talent" or worrying about the things most people concern themselves with? Those questions have written a story we will pass onto our grandchildren with the music.

These songs have gotten us through so many dark days. We hope they can do that for you, as well. I believe with all my heart that those who need the messages contained within these songs will find them. If any of it impacts one life, then it did what it was sent out to do.
