During some rough times of crying out to God, asking why certain things had to be as they were, the answer we felt He gave us was that there were too many people speaking into the lives of others with no willingness to lift the burden or to stay for the long haul. It was preached while the beam in the eye waved freely. If we had a message, we needed to know what the recipient was going through and what they were feeling like. We never wanted anyone to experience some of the things we were having to carry, but the reality is, the world is full of suffering. The next option was to leave a "well in the desert" for anyone who desperately needed the words to these songs, as we did.
This song is for everyone who feels the weight of a life that often seems too heavy to bear. In the end, the things we go through are so we can turn back and pull someone else out.
